Tony and Charlet Lewis have been producing food for themselves, their immediate neighbors, and their faith community for years. They utilize chemical-free, beyond organic practices to produce mixed vegetables and culinary herbs. Now, they're are now scaling up operations to serve more people in their region, as well as distribute to local restaurants and small-scale grocers. Their 0% interest loan will help them purchase hoophouses, build a space to wash and package produce, install refrigeration, and cover the costs of seeds and compost—all in service to strategically expanding their capacity and community impact.
